The Garell figurine comes in two pieces as shown in the photograph, a main body with separate head. The detail of the casting is very good, but there is a bit of roughness on the back of the cloak which I suspect may be from excess mould release. The pose is slightly odd, definitely one of those that you either like or don't, it isn't dynamic as are so many of the Rackham sculptures and the position of the lower legs and feet with heels together is strange. Overall it follows the artwork of the character card closely, with an unfeasibly long rifle held across the shoulders at a downward angle. The separate head fits neatly into the neck socket, but for those who like a bit more security it can be easily pinned.
The pack includes the character card, game cards and counters, with additional ones for use in the Hybrid board game. Along with the basic 'Confrontation' rulebook there are 4 cards for that game plus 2 for Hybrid - a character card and a material card; 'Hair Trigger'.
Garell is a Griffin minelayer and thus benefits from special rules for these in both games.
Positive: Pointy hat and huge rifle, what a character! Cards for Hybrid game included.
Negative: Slightly awkward appearance of the lower legs.
Value: Pretty good for the quality of the figurine and the addition of Hybrid cards in the pack makes it versatile.
