There are plenty of German WW2 figures on the market today, but this set is I beleive almost unique - none of them are firing guns, throwing grenades etc. - they are all in relaxed poses, mainly walking with weapons and helmets slung.

From the level of detail and parts breakdown I think that these figures originated at ICM in Eastern Europe. There are 8 figures in the set, in a multipose format - the parts can be swapped around to generate different poses from those suggested. Overall the level of detail and the fit of parts is average - about 10 year old Tamiya level. There are a few large sink marks on three of the figures, but I covered mine with the accessories provided although they could very easily be filled.

The instruction sheets are in the standard Revell format and are clear and easily read.Full painting instructions are also provided, with the normal Revell colour key.

I purchased my set for £6.99 by mail order from Hannants although I think that most model outlets would stock them. Eight 1/35 scale figures for £6.99 !!! and in poses that to me ( and I suspect other diorama modellers )are far more useful than the usual stiff "gungho" poses provided by the other major manufacturers.
