The current Genestealer boxed set of 12 plastic miniatures are a little long in the tooth. There are only 2 variants with no modelling options as such, apart from the possibility of slightly altering the angle the arms push into the body.
One of the models is identical to the original genestealers included in the 1989 release SpaceHulk, but repositioned on the sprue in 1992. The other one has a slightly different pose and dates from 1994.
Positive: Dynamic poses, still scary after all these years! Not bad value.
Negative: The genestealers are looking their age. The arms don't quite 'fit' and the mouldings are not as crisp as the SpaceHulk genestealer, even though they are the same figure.
Value: reasonable value for money but don't expect them to be 'new'...
