This terrain piece from Snapdragon Studio is LARGE. At 450mm x 220mm (approx. max dimensions) the base presents an impressive terrain piece, with space in the trenches for 8-10 infantry outside the gun position. The roof of the gun position is a separate casting so it can be removed to position figures inside.
The castings are of a superb quality, both in finish and detail. The outside of the trenches are decorated with craters, sandbags and stakes and the roof is modelled as logs covered with earth and sandbags. Inside the detail continues, with the trenches lined with planks and stakes. Around the gun position the sandbags are stacked up even higher.
The subtle finishing details dotted around the model give it completeness - an old matress, discarded tarpaulins and half buried ammo crates really add to the 'atmosphere' of the model.
Positive: Exceptional level of detail on the pieces, no moulding defects or air bubbles.
Negative: The only negative is the smelly resin :¬/
Value: Excellent value for money. The quality is superb and the price is very reasonable for such a large chunk of resin!
