I've bought 2 of this beasties to build a SciFi starport. I have painted one so far, and I am really impressed. There were some minor air bubbles in it, but nothing to worry about. Painting is great, the paint is really good to apply and you don't need to wash it before. Nothing is warped and the pieces I had there filed so I could start painting it immediately. imo a very good model for a reasonable price. I have ordered first time from Timecast and they were absolutely fast and even included some free items!

In recent years, TimeCast have built up a very attractive range of 6mm buildings and ruins. Unfortunately, due to the sheer scale of these buildings - or the lack of it - it's all too easy to overlook their inherent qualities. The control tower is a good case of this.
The model is 165mm in length and stands 55mm tall at its peak. It is composed of 3 pieces, including separate base, tower and roof components all of which are cast in a creamy white resin. Outwardly, the model exhibits little in the way of fine detail but has more than enough basic features to keep your paint brush happy. This includes numerous doors, windows and roof elements - all of which lend additional character to the building.
Perhaps the best feature of this model is its very design. I mean, which 6mm wargamer doesn't want their own airport/airbase? As soon as I saw it, I knew that I must have one! By the time I got it home I was already thinking about how to layout a few hangars and a runway. What's more, the control tower will always look contemporary regardless of the era in which it appears - from a 1930's airfield to a 25th century starport.
Plus: A simple but attractive piece that most gamers will find extremely useful and at only £6 it's a steal.
Minus: A couple of tiny air bubbles in the resin, and a few odd lumps and bumps - but nothing to lose any sleep over.
