This kit was voted best 1/35 scale kit in a major American modelling magazine last year, and it's a well deserved title. I obtained the Eduard etched detail set for this as a present and can honestly say that it is not needed, the detail on the moulding is amongst the best that I have seen.
The kit is moulded in a hard olive coloured polystyrene that cuts and trims neatly, and adheres well with liquid cement; which I would recommend as there are some very small pieces involved here.
Construction is tricky in some places and I would not recommend this kit to a novice modeller - I found it difficult to do some parts justice even with my experience. Metal parts are included for the gun barrel and turret machine gun mount. The tracks are well moulded and supplied in a soft vinyl material.
There are some alternative parts included for different versions of the vehicle, and transfers (decals) for US, British, French, Chinese and Yugoslav models.
If you are an experienced modeller and you only buy one 1/35 tank, then this should be it!
