£18 makes this an expensive model

The latest version of the Space Marine Land-speeder consists of 2 sprues which includes some different modelling & weapon options.
The 'Tornado' metal conversion addition to the box follows the now well established GW design philosophy to make commercial conversion kits to their expanding range of plastic vehicles. In this case it is a driver's eye-piece, 2x luggage pieces & 2 heavy weapons, a Heavy Flamer & an Assault Cannon to choose from.
With a bit of modelling know how and skill these could be made interchangeable but this is not a feature of the kit as is, basically meaning the extra £3 for the metal bits is for a Heavy weapon + some spares for your <i>bitz box</i>.
Positive: The detail of the vehicle is excellent and the modelling options are available on the sprues & with the metal additions to make up different configurations. The peices fit together neatly without problems. There are some bits left over for the spares box.
Negative: Value - £15 for the basic land-speeder model of 2 sprues + the flying base is rather a lot & the addition of metal components for another £3 makes this an expensive model.
