Commonly stocked in DIY shops under various brand names, PVA is a cheap, easily available glue usually sold as a wood or craft adhesive that can be thinned with water and applied using a brush or spatula (or finger).

Constructing a gaming board, building wargames terrain, making a diorama or applying scenic scatter material? Then PVA glue is an essential material.

Excess can be wiped away with a damp cloth while the glue is still wet. PVA can be washed off tools and brushes (and fingers) in warm water or even peeled off when dry.
