Cao Xuechun's Decal Guide
Prepare your tools before start, make sure that your knife and cutters are sharp enough. The two bottles of mark setters are both Gunze Sangyo’s product, the one with blue cap is the setter with glue. Cut the decal parts, using curve cutter, if you don’t have one, a simple scissors will also be okay. Brush some mark setter on the place where you will add your decal next, here should be the blue cap one. Remove the decal part on the model surface by cotton stick, maybe somewhere will not be flat, that’s the job we will do next.
Smooth out it using mark setter with green cap, brush all places on it but not only the edge. This is the effect after using mark setter, much flat than before. Here I will show how to deal with two pieces of decals of one cover on the other, still remove the decal on the model. Brush mark setter on, pay attention to the edge of two decals.
You can hardly see the edge between the two decals after using the mark setter. These are all the kit parts with decals, everything seems done. If you look forwards better effect, keep on looking the following steps. Here I use a bottle of from Gunze Sangyo. After the decals were dried, spray the gloss for three times, each time does a little sum. You can see the gloss on decals and model are unified.
